National Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2018 – Gampaha Event 

The National Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2018 – Gampaha District 

will be held on 12th & 13th May 2018 at

Bandarawatta Parakrama Maha Vidyalaya.

Event:
12 separate individual events as Under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years Open and Girls. 

Time Control:
Rapid 15 Minutes + 10 Sec per player per game Blitz 3 Minutes + 2 Sec per player per game No need to score. 

Eligibility:
Those who fall into the respective age group on the 1st of January 2017are eligible to participate in that age group. Rated players, who are not eligible and will get direct entry for the finals
