National Youth rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2017 - Finals

This is to inform you that the above events will be held on 6th and 7th January 2018 at Parakramabahu Maha Vidyalaya, Narahenpita.

The venue: Parakramabahu Maha Vidyalaya, Narahenpita
Reporting time: 8.30 a.m.
System of play: Rapid on 1st day and Blitz and the Prize distribution is on 2nd day. 7 rounds each event. (5 rounds if the number of participants less than 25.)
Awards: Trophies, Medals and Certificates will be awarded and the winner will be Named as National Youth rapid/ Blitz Champion for the age group 2017.
Entry fee: For official players and rated players – Rs. 300/= per one event and Rs. 500/= for both events.
For additional players: Rs. 600/= per one event. And Rs. 1000/= for both events.
The winners will be eligible to participate in the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2018.
The tournament will be fide rated.
